Ms. Bharathi Rajesh President, COWE honoured with ABHINANDANA AWARDS 2019

Bangalore 5th May 2019 : Ms. Bharathi Rajesh, President of Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India (COWE) conferred with “ABHIANANDANA AWARDS 2019” Celebrated the success of women achievers.  

Bangalore Education Trust, in association with Public Relations Forum of India, ELCIA and Chambers of Commerce, in the last few years have been observing the Labours Day, which falls on 1st of May every year, in a very special and different and named this day as ABHINANDANA which celebrates   the success of women achievers. The contributions made by women in different walks of life in building a responsible and economically strong society through hard work, dedication and commitment, are recognised in a unique way on this occasion. Men of accomplishment, who are themselves achievers, felicitated and presented special awards of excellence to the women achieves.

Women Empowerment awards presented to 20 women achievers. Mr.Manish Kothari, Managing Director of  the Institution presided the event. Guest of Honour : Padma Shri Saalumarda Thimmakka- Environmentalist ( age 106)
Other Dignitaries included: Mr Chiranjiv Singh. IAS. Former Ambassador of India to UNESCO. Mr Manpreet Singh Sachdev, Vice President, IACC-SIC ,  Ms.Ashwini Nachappa (Athlete) Ms. Roopa (IPS), Ms. Michelle Wade- Commissioner of South Asia, Govt of Australia, many Entrepreneurs and others from the Corporate world.

Speaking on the achievement Ms. Bharathi Rajesh Said “, “I am extremely happy to receive this prestigious award. I am thankful to my team and our patrons for their consistent support and encouragement. I am thrilled to accept this award and wish to continue doing my best with my team.”

 The Nomination Committee, in the mode of search to select deserving achievers, has proposed COWE Karnataka Chapter for Institutional Award, in the field of leadership in empowering Women Entrepreneurs. The Award was  presented on The Labour Day  1st of May 2019 at a ceremonial function at ISBR Auditorium, Electronics City, Phase I, Bangalore.

The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs is a NGO/social organization engaged in the social and economic “upliftment of women through entrepreneurship”. The slogan “Gearing women power” stands for the democratic structure of COWE and stands for “Of the women, for the women and by the women”.

COWE’s vision is to build a women force that is economically empowered, valued citizens of the nation. By pooling the dormant talent, skills, practical knowledge and resources of a woman and combining it with her intrinsic quality of dedication and commitment, we will achieve this. COWE’s mission is to enhance women’s opportunities in achieving the vision by creating a resource base of technical know how, management, marketing skills, finance, infrastructure and equipment to promote entrepreneurship.
